Luisa Bolo Dave

Luisa is a clinical research coordinator in Marta San Luciano’s lab, where they support clinical studies investigating novel therapies for Parkinson’s disease and contribute to research on deep brain stimulation in pediatric patients with cerebral palsy. They are broadly interested in how the brain generates and adapts movement, and are especially drawn to work that bridges neuroscience and patient care. They earned a B.A. from University of California, Berkeley with a double major in Molecular and Cell Biology and Psychology. With the Cognition and Action Lab, they explore internal and external mediators shape decision-making through movement. Outside of research, they can usually be found covered in clay at the ceramics studio, roller skating, or planning their next trip.
